Friday's Feast

Appetizer

If you could take lessons to learn any musical instrument, which would you want to learn?

Uh, hello? I so love the drums!!! They would drive most people crazy, but I have always loved them best. Maybe it's because I would be allowed to beat something with a stick and not get in trouble ;o)

Soup

Have you ever mistaken a person for someone else?

My hubby always makes fun of me for this one...we were boarding a plane for CA and I kept looking at the guy in front of me. Hubby starts talking to him and I am not paying attention to their conversation, but trying to figure out how I know this dude. When he starts boarding the plane I asked my husband, "Didn't we go to school with him?" Hubby laughs and says, "NO! That was Al Unser Jr. you twit!" LOL! I knew he looked familiar!

Salad

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how well do you keep secrets?

I know it's hard to believe, but I can keep this big mouth shut completely! I am definitely a 10.

Main Course

What's the closest you've ever been to a dangerous animal?

I got bit by a snake when I was five years old. It wasn't exactly a poisonous snake, but scary none the less, and painful too!

Dessert

When was the last time you lost your patience?

Yesterday was a rough day here at the shop. I don't think I exactly lost my patience. I didn't scream or yell or anything like that, but without going into details I just felt like giving up. It's rare that I ever think that way, but I had reached my breaking point. My trouble was I hadn't given anything over to the Lord at that point. I was trying to do it all myself and we know it just don't work that way, does it?!

Hi Amy,

I've been thinking about you and wondering how you're doing.

You got bitten by a snake? Oh my gosh, I'd have been terrified. I didn't even know non poisonous snakes attacked like that.

I think it's a serious gift to be able to keep a secret. It's not always easy to do but I'm very good at it, too. Sure as heck, if I told a secret to someone, I'd get caught. LOL

OUCH! A snake bite does sound painful.
That's cool to have seen Al Unser Jr., and been on the same plane.
I agree with your dessert, when I feel like there is too much for me to do I just (and try to remember) to ask God for strength to get through my day!
Thanks for the fantastic feast!
Happy Friday!
My feast is served!

Oooh! Hard to find a friend that can keeps secrets! Those are always nice! My husband approached me the other day saying he wanted to learn to play the drums. We went out and bought this little drum pad and sticks and he loves it! It's not to loud and is helping him learn. I'm not sure we'll ever step up to the big drums though!

you talking about your shop makes me picture OC Choppers, or something like that; which cracks me up, 'cause I'm sure that you totally run your shop with less drama and craziness than those guys do...

Thanks for the congrats ;)

Blessings,
Karla
